60 teachers from schools run by Holy Cross Fathers in Meghalaya gathered at MIIT Shillong for a one day seminar on 4th February 2019.  The seminar was animated by Mrs. Lakyntiew, a professional councillor on Basic counselling skills.  She shared with the teachers her experience as a teacher in dealing with the children and their emotions.  She encouraged the teachers to understand their children in a better way to deal with the problem faced by them.  Various techniques were used to during the sessions to drive home the importance of acquiring basic counselling skills by teachers.  The seminar included an hour of practical session where in teachers used the newly acquired skills among themselves. 

An hour long session was taken by Fr. Roy Thalackan, CSC on Holy Cross way of education.  He highlighted the vision of our founder and enlightened the teachers on Holy Cross way of educating heart and mind.
